IT’S GAME TIME WITH SHARON SPRINGS ACADEMY

A Baseball Instruction For All Levels

At Sharon Springs Academy, we are dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for baseball. With multiple first-round MLB players, over 40 professional players, and more than 100 college athletes, our track record speaks for itself. Remarkably, 100% of our players have made their high school teams.

We keep instruction and games at levels that are enjoyable for the young athlete. We do not believe in negative coaching or intimidation. Parents are kept abreast of our short—and long-term goals and how these impact our players.

We offer an affordable program led by passionate coaches who care deeply about each player's development. Our coaches are generous with their time because they believe in giving back to the community and supporting our athletes' growth. This isn't their sole means of living; it's their way of making a difference.

Our alliance with Forsyth County and Sharon Springs Baseball utilizes some of the best resources in Georgia.

Choosing Sharon Springs Academy means giving your child the best opportunity to succeed in baseball and beyond. Join us and become part of a tradition of excellence and care.

BUILDING A BETTER PLAYER

EXPLOSIVE TRAINING

Explosive exercises, or exercises that test strength and speed, can improve physical performance during many fast-paced sports and have been shown to reduce an athlete's risk of injury during activities that involve high power outputs with quick acceleration, such as baseball and field sports.  Increased explosive power will help both pitching and hitting in addition to overall body strength.  These sessions will be 50 minutes long on Saturday mornings at Windermere Park.

SPEED and AGILITY

Speed and agility workouts compliment and improve performance of all sports. The workouts improve acceleration, deceleration, foot speed, coordination, quickness and change of direction. If you want to get better at a sport you must develop your overall athleticism. Speed is defined as the ability to move the body in one direction as fast as possible. Agility is the ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and quickly change directions with proper posture. Quickness is the ability to react and change body position with a maximum rate of force production.  These translate into throwing better, fielding more ground and better baserunning.  We will offer these sessions Monday and Thursdays, limited space in each 50-minute session.  All sessions held at Sharon Springs Park.

Crossfit Exercise
